As an animal lover myself, I know how important and how much animals mean to people. I want to make it my mission to help people people remember their pets in a way that will make them smile.

Shortly after graduating college with an animation degree, I started volunteering at the local humane society and I found a calling working with animals. I have socialized small animals and cats. I have supervised doggy day cares. I have also cared for peoples’ pets in veterinary clinics.

Having had dozens pets in my life ranging from hamsters to dogs, has impacted me as a person in such a positive way. I always wanted a way to remember my pets in a way that only brings a smile to my face.

When I met my wife, we decided to write and illustrate a children’s book commemorating our pet hamster. It has since become a small series. The moment I held the first book in my hand I knew I wanted to draw pets as cartoons.
